The Marbella Restaurants group Da Bruno is launching an imaginative, romantic Valentines Day Special Weekend, on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th February 2010. Tiramisu cakes will be shared by lovers and one lucky couple will find a ring inside their tiramisu.

The concept is based on the Spanish tradition of Roscon d Reyes which is a traditional desert served the night before The Epiphany, Kings Day, 6th January. In Spain this is the celebration of the three kings who brought baby Jesus gifts and Spanish children receive gifts at this time. It is traditional to put various surprises inside the Roscon so Da Bruno has adapted this tradition to suit Valentines celebrations.

The motto for this Valentines Weekend at the Da Bruno Marbella Restaurants is When Done with Love Things Work. The chefs at Da Bruno, San Pedro restaurant, will be making delicious heart shaped tiramisu cakes and in one of these there will be a ring inside. This excellent idea will certainly give some lucky couple a positive omen of their love on the most romantic day of the year.

The team at Da Bruno qualified this motto by saying that although it is written on the Valentines Weekend menu it applies throughout the year at Da Bruno. All of the food there is prepared and served with love.

The ambience promises to be fabulous with the best live musicians serenading the couples with romantic ballads and bolero music; a slow-tempo sexy Latin music.

The Valentines Menu is from 25 euros per person and includes homemade heart-shaped pasta filled with succulent prawns, as well as fillet steak with new potatoes. This menu can be found at the Da Bruno Sul Mare, Da Bruno Pasta and Da Bruno Cabopino Restaurants.

At Da Brunos in San Pedro there is a special Valentines a la carte menu which offers gorgeous options. Two of the starter options are:

Carpaccio of the Bay of Biscay with Scallops with Bubbles of Salmon and Chives or Fine Layers of Duck Breast with Endives and Mustard Sauce, amongst a generous choice of five Valentines starters.

The main course options include fish dishes such as Wild Turbot with Risotto Profomo di Orto or Fresh Flounder Rose with Champagne. There are pasta and pizza options as well as delicious meat dishes like the Suckling Lamb Medallions on a Layer of Fresh Duck Liver Foi or a Roulade of Chicken Supreme with Bell Peppers and Curry Sauce or a Duck Breast with Wild Berries.
