TORONTO.Feb. 4, 2010 -- Toronto-based Tourd'Afrique (http://www.tourdafrique.com/),a small, socially responsible bike tour company with huge intentions, announcesthat registration is now open for a January 2011 departure of a cycling adventurefrom the Taj Mahal in Agra to Kanyakumari at the southern tip of the Indian subcontinent.
The cyclingexpedition features 37 riding days, each ranging from 40–125 km (25-78miles), as well as 9 rest days. Riders may choose to do the entire 3,300 km (2050 miles) north to southroute or opt for one of two shorter tour segments.
The2011 Indian Adventure Bicycle Expedition http://www.tourdafrique.com/dreamtours/show/58departs Agra on Jan. 29, 2011 enroute to the southern tip of India and the confluence of the Arabian Sea, theGulf of Mannar and the Indian Ocean, passing through, among many others, thecolorful desert cities of Rajasthan, elbowing through Mumbai and relaxing onGoa’s beaches.
A 100 Euro registration fee securesthe reservation. The entry fee of 3850 Euros is due on Oct. 29, 2010. The rateincludes tour leaders, vehicle support and comfortable nightly lodgings. Meals aretaken at various restaurants and roadside eateries along the way.
Designated a Tour d’Afrique “DreamTour”(http://www.tourdafrique.com/dreamtours),the route was designed by Brendan McLean,an inspired visitor to the Tour d’Afrique website and promoted through the onlinecommunity where enough other riders signed on to make it a confirmed departure.

-Bollywood & Beaches - Mumbai toKanyakumari / 2,100 km / February 19 to March 15 / Cost: €2200
Othercurrent Dream Tours now confirmed or close to achieving critical mass ofparticipants include a July 11, 2010 departure of the Amber Route (St.Petersburg to Venice), a North American Epic (Key West to Anchorage) and the MediterraneanCircuit (a scenic loop around the entire Mediterranean Sea).
