Details are not readily available and the question of what would happen to those fans still holding tickets is not clear.

The two often exchanged late night phone calls to support one another in the frustration over the constant press attention.  Many news outlets are comparing the sudden death of Jackson to the sudden death of the Princess, calling him “America’s Princess Diana”.

One site to see in the upcoming months will be the Michael Jackson statue to be erected at Harrod’s in London. As reported in the London Telegraph on June 26, 2009, Mr. Fayed said that Jackson had asked if he could have a statue in the store next to his own, stating that Harrod’s was one of Jackson’s “favorite places”.  The Harrod’s founder agreed saying  “I knew him very well”. Plans have been discussed with an artist and it should be complete in a couple of months, although an exact date is unknown.

A memorial statue of Jackson’s friend, Princess Diana and Dodi Al Fayed already stands in the store.
