Kaviraj Singh elected first Chair New Delhi, India Chapter, International Law and Practice Section of New York State Bar Association

September 17-20, 2008 - International Law and Practice Section Seasonal Meeting - Stockholm, Sweden unanimously agrees to establish the first chapter of New Delhi, India and Kaviraj Singh – Trustman & Co is nominated as its first chair.

The International Law Practice Section (ILPS) gives Section members and visitors alike the opportunity to meet with American colleagues who share common interest in international law. Currently ILPS has more than 30 substantive committees organized by legal specialty and chapters. The International Law and Practice Section features as a benefit of membership the New York International Law Review, which provides substantive articles on various topics of interest to the international lawyer including global issues, the United Nations and trade agreements.

Involvement in the ILP enables members to establish a network for directed volunteerism and to network with other members of the legal profession globally. New Delhi, India shall particularly focus on networking with global lawyers particularly US law firms.
